Alaska citizen’s monthly payment means recipients work more, not less

Think of Universal Basic Income as a venture capital investment in every citizen in the United States. A modest investment in the population of the world’s only SuperPower to innovate.

If what they say is true, that nations that lead innovations will lead the future world, then it would seem this is a wise investment.

Despite endorsing a larger carbon footprint for Alaska, the Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD payment, according to a survey released last week, of one thousand employees), encouraged only one per cent of recipients to work less.
